How to read RTC AI

RTC AI puts structure (SMC) and volume (VSA) in one terminal, with Wyckoff, Fib OTE and RSI divergence. Every layer has its own colour and code, used the same way in Layers, on the chart, in the tabs and here. The simple view shows structure and volume only. Turn the rest on one at a time.

Read it in this order
  1. 01Check D1 · H4 · H1

The first card shows the structure on the daily, H4 and H1. All three agreeing is the clearest picture; when they disagree, the market is mixed.

  2. 02Read structure on your chart

A leg high is marked HH once its pullback starts: a red candle and then a candle closing below its low, or one bearish engulfing. One close above that HH is a BOS, and the pullback low before it becomes the HL. Two closes in a row below the HL is a CHoCH; one close and back above is a liquidity sweep. There is no internal BOS.

  3. 03Find the zones

Turn on order blocks, breakers, QML levels and FVGs to see where price may react. Premium and discount show which half of the range price is in.

  4. 04Read the volume

No supply, stopping volume, a spring or a test show strength; no demand, an upthrust or a buying climax show weakness. Hover any candle to see every reading on it.

  5. 05Make your own plan

RTC AI reads the chart; it does not give buy or sell calls. Trade ideas and analysis come from Rao Umer in the RTC Pro chat.

What you see

Structure · Who controls the trend.

BOS

Break of structure

Context
BOSBOSHHLHL

One candle closing beyond the last swing high in an uptrend, or the last swing low in a downtrend (Level-1).

On the chart
A solid blue line from the broken swing to the bar that closed through it.
What it tells you
The trend is continuing. The side in control is still in control.
Confirm with
A pullback that holds a higher low (uptrend) or lower high (downtrend).
Common mistake
Counting a wick as a break. RTC only uses closes.

CHoCH

Change of character

Context
CHoCHHLHH

Two candles closing beyond the opposite swing (Level-2): the last higher low in an uptrend, or the last lower high in a downtrend.

On the chart
A dashed amber line at the swing that broke. One close only shows as CHoCH? 1/2 until the second close.
What it tells you
Structure has shifted. With one close only, it is not validated yet.
Confirm with
A BOS in the new direction after the CHoCH.
Common mistake
Trading against the higher timeframe on a small-timeframe CHoCH.

SW

Swings HH · HL · LH · LL

Context
HLHHHLLHLL

Every swing high and low, labelled against the one before it.

On the chart
Small grey dots with HH, HL, LH or LL.
What it tells you
HH and HL mean an uptrend. LH and LL mean a downtrend. A mix means a range.
Confirm with
Two or more swings in a row in the same direction.
Common mistake
Marking every tiny wiggle. RTC uses clear swings.

Worked gold example
  1. D1, H4 and H1 are all bullish. In the London killzone gold wicks under the Asia low and closes back inside: a sweep, not a break.
  2. On M5 two candles close above the last lower high: CHoCH (2 closes). The move leaves a bullish order block in discount, inside the OTE band.
  3. Price comes back to the order block on a no supply bar. Every layer now tells the same story, and that is what you study before you plan anything.

Educational example, not a trade signal.

Questions
How far back does the chart go?

Drag the chart to the left to scroll back: weeks of history on M1 and M5, months on M15 to H1, and years on H4 and D1. Zoom with + and −, the mouse wheel or two fingers, and double-click to reset.

Which price is used for gold?

Gold and silver follow spot XAU/USD and XAG/USD. Volume comes from the exchange, so the newest bar can run a few minutes behind.

Does RTC AI give buy or sell signals?

No. It reads structure, zones, liquidity and volume on the chart. Trade ideas and the daily analysis come from Rao Umer in the RTC Pro chat. Always do your own analysis and risk 1% or less.

Who can use RTC AI?

RTC AI is part of RTC Pro. This guide stays free for everyone.

How often does it update?

Every 15 seconds. The candle countdown runs every second.
